At Camerons Blinds & Awning we know motors and offer a large range of quality engineered systems from Becker Australia, Somfy, Alpha Tubular Motors and Linx Automation that all have a proven reputation for excellence and value.

How does it work?

We install the motor directly into the tube of your new retractable awning, blind, shade or roof systems and it is hidden out of site; replacing the need for crank handles, chains or ropes.

Wired motors are wired in by our qualified, experienced electricians and automated operation is via:

• remote control;
• phone/device app;
• wired switch; or
• voice command via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa with the Linx Hub.

Can I convert my existing blind or awning from manual operation to motorised?

Sure thing. Converting your existing retractable blinds and awnings is also a possibility with most custom made-to-measure blinds and awnings.

What’s new?

We also offer 12v rechargeable battery motors that eliminate the need for hard wiring by an electrician. Please ask our office, showroom or sales staff to see if a battery motor will suit your new installation.
